What is Havening? How can it help me?
Havening is a powerful neuro-sensory technique designed to help the mind and body release stored stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm — gently, safely, and effectively.
At its core, Havening works with the brain’s ability to change and rewire itself, known as neuroplasticity. When we experience something distressing, the brain can encode that memory with strong emotional intensity, often keeping the nervous system in a heightened state of alert — what we commonly know as fight, flight, or freeze. This process supports the production of delta brain waves — the same brain waves present during deep sleep — which play a key role in resetting emotional responses and reducing distress.
